Message I am writing this post for some of you who are thinking about buying a motor from Speedline. I purchased a motor from ARLEY LEGHORN of SPEEDLINE Jan 3 2006. Called him a month later to see where my motor was, he said that its in a container waiting to be shipped to Hawaii. Alright, taking a little long but I will give him the benefit of the doubt. He told me that he will call me with tracking when it leaves(sounds good). Two weeks later no call so I call him again and he said it was shipped. I ask for shipping info and he could not give me anything, he said that he will call me Monday with it because the shipping company was closed for the next couple of days(wow you ship a 1500 dollar motor with no idea where it is or company you shipped it through?). At this point I want to ring his neck but I gave him another chance because he was doing some great ass kissing. Well Monday passed and now it was Friday. Gave him another call and he told me that the company has not contacted him yet. That's when all hell broke loose...I pretty much blew up on his ass. He even tried to say the motor was on the dock of Hawaii and he was going to sell it to someone else. All I can say was this guy is the most crooked person I dealt with in my lifetime. I am sure some would agree and some will not. Some advice I can offer , buy the motor from him if you inspect it or pick it up from his shop. I would not go through the hassle of shipping.
